This week, we cover a question that has perplexed and consumed the minds of many of the great philosphers and intellects of history. It is not a question that exists just for philosphical thought, however. To truly know who we are and why we exist is vital for everyone of us. It gives us pupose, dignity, and meaning.

How and why did God create us?

God created us male and female in his own image to know him, love him, live with him, and glorify him. And it is right that we who were created by God should live to his glory.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
