Young Adult Ministry
Group 1-2 is a young adult ministry at Redeemer Community. It is a group for singles (1) and young married couples (2). You will find undergrad and grad students, young professionals, starving artists, newly weds, and a variety of others in this group. Group 1-2 is a great way for young people to get connected with the Redeemer body. Here are the core values and goals of the group . . .
- Community: Group 1-2 is a great place to get connected and build some genuine friendships with others. There are always planned events, and last minute get-togethers that provide needed outlets for fellowship and connection. It provides a great network and support structure for students away from home and for singles. This group really helps one another both in spiritual growth and daily needs (like a ride to the grocery store or laundry mat).
- Discipleship: Group 1-2 provides outlets for study, discussion, prayer, and accountability focused on the questions and challenges that face young adults. It is a safe place to learn, to ask questions, and to honestly face the challenges of life.
- Mission: Group 1-2 also has an outward focus. The young adults come together to serve the community. We are always looking for creative ways to be a blessing to our neighbors and to partner with others focused on the social and physical needs of the community. The group also serves others in the Redeemer body in unique ways.
